Job Summary
Clinic-based Physician Assistant to join Banner Health's Orthopedic Surgery team in the Phoenix Metro area. Full-time role based at Sun City West and Peoria clinics with 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule; occasional practice call and hospital call; occasional first assist opportunities; injections training provided. Collaborate with a team of seven physicians and eight APPs under Dr. Martin Benoit. Responsibilities include supporting orthopedic surgeons and APPs in assessment, care, and procedures, with potential to assist in surgical steps and patient management. Requires Board Certification as a PA, Arizona licensure or eligibility, DEA license, and current BLS & ACLS. Experience in orthopedic generalist/trauma preferred, new grads with orthopedic skills considered. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, PTO, career advancement, and wellness support.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Arizona
- Current prescribing privileges, including DEA license for controlled substances
- Current BLS & ACLS certification
