Job Summary
Clinic-based Physician Assistant in Orthopedic Surgery: General at Banner Health. Based at Sun City West and Peoria clinics in the Phoenix Metro area, the role supports orthopedic surgeons and APPs, with occasional first assist opportunities and injection training provided. Requires Board Certification as a Physician Assistant, licensed or eligible in Arizona, current prescribing privileges including DEA license, and BLS/ACLS. Experience preferred (orthopedic generalist/trauma) but new grads with orthopedic skills will be considered. Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with possible practice call and compensated hospital call; time split between locations. Team includes 7 Physicians and 8 APPs; opportunities for professional growth and comprehensive benefits. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Arizona
- Current prescribing privileges including DEA license for controlled substances
- Current BLS & ACLS certification
