Physician Assistant - Ortho-Bone Health-Columbia

Perform health histories, physical exams, and individual or group health education. Order diagnostic laboratory and radiological tests, including CTs, MRIs, ultrasound, and contrast studies with physician approval. Interpret physical findings, lab, and x-ray results to make diagnoses, formulate treatment plans, and prescribe medication per state laws. Refer cases to the supervising physician when conditions exceed the limit of care or level of training. Provide emergency care to prevent loss of life, limb, or eyesight by instituting appropriate emergency procedures. Support clinic function by participating in policy development and operational improvements. Requires NCCPA certification, current South Carolina licensure, and BLS. Day shift at Prisma Health's Orthopedics Trauma Department in Richland.
