Job Summary
Evaluate and treat occupational medicine patients per the medical practice model, establish appropriate care levels, and complete all medical record documentation before shift end. Call client representatives regarding initial injuries or status changes, and meet with the Medical Director to review quality reports and policies. Guide center colleagues when the Medical Director is absent and recommend service growth opportunities. Maintain compliance with licensing, State Practice Acts, and Workers' Compensation regulations while managing clinical and support staffing to optimize workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
- Unrestricted PA/NP license in the state where employed
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
- BLS and AED Certified
- ACLS Certified
- NRCME Certified (DOT Medical Examiner)
- DEA
- Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions
- Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalism
- The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies
- Medicine knowledge

- Customer and personal service knowledge including needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction
