Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (RNFA) - Surgical First Assist/Clinic

Conduct initial evaluations, manage post-op care, and dictate office notes for new, follow-up, and independent post-op patients. Perform suture removal, apply dressings, order and review diagnostic studies, and alert patients to urgent results. First-assist in surgery, suture wounds, apply splints, and write pre- and post-operative orders, discharge summaries, and therapy coordination notes. Prescribe antibiotics and pain medication after verifying against the Pennsylvania Drug Monitoring program. Communicate with OR staff, nursing, and specialists regarding instrumentation, special concerns, and patient care.
