Job Summary
The position provides primary and preventive health care counseling and treatment for patients in accordance with licensure and approved privileges. Key responsibilities include counseling patients about health issues, performing physical examinations, collecting medical specimens, interpreting medical test results, treating diagnosed conditions, and providing referrals as necessary. Candidates must have a Master's degree related to physician assistant studies or advanced practice nursing and be licensed in the State of Montana. Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, and experience with sensitive patient health information are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the medical or nursing field
- A Master’s degree in physician assistant studies or Advanced Practice Degree in Nursing
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Licensed in the State of Montana
- Must be credentialed and privileged in accordance with RiverStone Health Clinic processes
- BLS Certificate
Desired Qualifications
- One year of clinical practice, primary care and/or pediatric experience
- Experience working with underserved population
