Job Summary
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner sought for Northwest Specialty Hospital's Urgent Care Clinic. Primary duties include administering care under a supervising physician, examining and diagnosing patients, interpreting tests and medical records, assessing clinical problems, consulting with doctors and specialists, determining interventions, assisting with bone-health management, prescribing medications and treatments, developing care plans, handling after-hours calls and occasional hospital consultations. Requires Idaho licensure and a Master’s or Doctorate in a medical or nursing program, plus BLS on hire and ACLS readiness. Preference for Spine and/or Pain Management experience; strong teamwork and Joint Commission readiness skills emphasized. Hospital offers robust benefits and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure in the State of Idaho
- Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Medical Program or Nursing Program
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification upon hire
- Must be able to achieve ACLS certification
- Ability to relate and work effectively with others
- Prior experience with Joint Commission continual readiness
- Experience in Spine and/or Pain Management preferred
