Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients according to medical staff approved protocols while providing health education to patients and families. Collaborate with physicians on abnormal health assessment findings, interpret diagnostic information, and ensure appropriate referrals are made. Perform necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and apply aseptic practices in compliance with safety standards and CMS regulations. Work primarily during day shifts with potential to float to other clinics, including 1:7 weekend ED call involvement.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Upon Hire
- Federal Drug Enforcement Admin - US Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Admin State and federal based on state practice Upon Hire
- Physician Assistant - Licensing Board Must be licensed and qualified to practice in the state based on job assignment Upon Hire
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- Ability to work the hours specified
