Job Summary
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner needed for Agile Occupational Medicine in California and Arizona. The role focuses on occupational medicine patient evaluation and treatment within a clinic setting, leadership contributions to education and staff development, and collaboration with the Center Medical Director to align with medical standards of care. Schedule options include 4- or 5-day weeks with clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and starting compensation range of $145,000 to $187,000 annually (pro-rated for a 4-day workweek). Responsibilities include ensuring licensing/certification compliance, documenting medical records, maintaining care levels, supporting operational standards, identifying growth opportunities, communicating with client representatives, mentoring staff, utilizing clinical systems for documentation and coding, and promoting quality, safety, and teamwork across the center. The role requires strong decision-making, customer service, HIPAA compliance, and proficiency with medical office procedures and electronic medical records.
Required Qualifications
- Education/Credentials
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program and an unrestricted California PA/NP license (or license in progress)
- Must meet all licensure requirements for the applicable state of practice
- Current BLS, AED and ACLS certification required
- NRCME (DOT Medical Examiner) certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
