Job Summary
Urgent care clinic in Los Angeles seeks a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to provide full-time, on-site medical coverage. Role features 12-hour shifts (minimum 12 on-site shifts per month plus on-call shifts), treating 4 patients per hour across ages from newborns to geriatrics, and performing bread-and-butter procedures such as I&Ds, toenail removal, and laceration repair. Offers in-house Point-of-Care testing, X-ray, EKG, and rapid charting through Experity EMR with AI Dragon dictation. Compensation includes $75/hour with overtime, a $10,000 sign-on, $5,000 productivity bonus, and a $5,000 annual retention bonus; benefits include malpractice tail coverage, full benefits, and a 401(k). Minimum requirements include an active CA MSN FNP or MS in PA studies, CA medical license in good standing, CA DEA certificate in good standing, and 2+ years of urgent care experience. Required Qualifications
- Completion of a formal MSN FNP Program or MS in Health Sciences Physician Assistant Studies
- CA Medical License that is active and in good standing with no restrictions
- CA DEA Certificate in good standing with no restrictions
- Two + years of relevant urgent care experience
