Job Summary
Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) – Orthopedics (Sports Medicine) needed for a full-time outpatient orthopedic practice. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating orthopedic and sports-related injuries; performing physical exams; developing individualized treatment plans; ordering and interpreting imaging and diagnostic tests; administering injections, suturing wounds, and prescribing medications; providing pre- and post-operative patient care; participating in OR time as First Assist; collaborating with physicians, therapists, and care teams; monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans; providing patient triage and urgent care; educating patients on injury prevention, recovery, and performance; maintaining accurate EMR documentation; potential travel between nearby clinic locations. Setting: outpatient orthopedic clinic with dedicated OR time; travel between nearby clinics. Qualifications and license requirements emphasize PA-C or ARNP status and Florida licensure; CPR certification; interest or experience in orthopedics/sports medicine. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of or currently enrolled in an accredited PA-C or ARNP program
- Active Florida PA-C or ARNP license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Current CPR certification
- Interest or experience in orthopedics or sports medicine preferred
