Job Summary
Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) sought for outpatient orthopedic sports medicine practice. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating orthopedic and sports-related injuries; performing physical exams; developing individualized treatment plans; ordering and interpreting imaging and diagnostic tests; administering injections, suturing wounds, and prescribing medications; providing pre- and post-operative patient care; participating in OR time as First Assist; collaborating with physicians and care teams; monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans; providing patient triage and addressing urgent clinical needs; educating patients on injury prevention, recovery, and performance; maintaining timely electronic medical documentation; and opportunities for growth within a leading orthopedic and sports medicine practice. Location includes Saint Augustine, FL and Jacksonville, FL with on-site (in-person) work; potential travel between nearby clinic locations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of or currently enrolled in an accredited PA-C or ARNP program
- Active Florida PA-C or ARNP license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Current CPR certification
