Job Summary
Physician Assistant openings across Berkshire Health Systems in Berkshire County, MA, with opportunities in the Emergency Department, nine Primary Care facilities, and the Hospitalist department. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in ED; providing high-quality primary care across multiple facilities with comprehensive assessments, care planning, and management of acute/chronic illnesses; hospitalist duties including physical exams, ordering/interpreting tests, medication management, and care transitions. Emphasis on collaborative, multidisciplinary teamwork, thorough documentation, and preventive care education. Requires MA licensure and Family Physician Assistant certification (preferred), strong clinical and diagnostic abilities, and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted licensure as a Physician Assistant in Massachusetts.
- Certification as a Family Physician Assistant (specialty-specific certification preferred).
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team-based healthcare setting.
