Physician Assistants are sought for Emergency Department, nine Primary Care facilities, and the Hospitalist department within Berkshire Health Systems in Berkshire County, MA. Responsibilities include ED assessment, diagnosis and treatment of urgent conditions; procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care; providing high-quality primary care across multiple facilities; conducting comprehensive assessments; diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses; educating patients on preventive care and lifestyle modifications; coordinating with physicians and other professionals; hospitalist duties including physical exams, ordering/tests, medication management, and transitions of care. Qualifications include MA licensure as a PA and Family PA certification (preferred), strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
