Job Summary

Conduct pre-employment physical examinations, DOT evaluations, and return-to-work assessments. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage work-related injuries and illnesses while establishing work restrictions and monitoring patient recovery. Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care, and order diagnostic studies. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, employers, and insurance representatives to ensure continuity of care. Complete clinical documentation accurately in the electronic medical record and support workplace wellness and preventive-care programs. Maintain compliance with occupational-health standards. Full-time Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or on-call duties.

Required Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted California Physician Assistant license
  • Current PA-C certification
  • Monday–Friday schedule
  • No weekends or on-call duties

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care
  • Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner status
  • Willingness to obtain FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner certification after hire
