Job Summary
Conduct baseline and annual physical exams, evaluate, treat, and follow up on industrial injuries, non-industrial medical conditions, and exposures to infectious or hazardous materials. Perform NRCME (DOT) driver examinations and read EKGs or exercise treadmill stress tests. Manage urgent care services in partnership with the Phoenix Fire Department. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with call rotation within the team. Requires PA-C designation, current prescribing privileges, and ACLS/BLS certification. Join a multistate occupational health program serving the Phoenix Metro Area.
Required Qualifications
- PA-C designation (NCCPA)
- Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substance required
- Current AZ license or eligibility
- ACLS/BLS required
- Certification to perform NRCME (DOT) driver examinations required
- M - F | 7:00a-4:00p | Call rotated within team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or orthopedics is preferred
- The ability to read and interpret EKGs and exercise treadmill stress tests is a plus or obtain training within 6 months of employment
