Physician Assistant-Occupational Medicine

Job Summary

Conduct baseline and annual physical exams, evaluate and treat industrial and non-industrial injuries, and manage infectious and hazardous material exposures. Perform NRCME (DOT) driver examinations, read EKGs, and interpret exercise treadmill stress tests. Follow up on medical conditions while maintaining current prescribing privileges and an AZ license. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a 1.4-hour call rotation. Join a multistate program within Banner Health, a Top 5 non-profit health system, to support workers and employers in the Phoenix Metro Area.

Required Qualifications

  • PA-C designation (NCCPA)
  • Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substance
  • Current AZ license or eligibility
  • ACLS/BLS
  • Certification to perform NRCME (DOT) driver examinations

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or orthopedics
