Job Summary
Conduct full body skin exams, establish diagnoses for skin conditions and cancer, and perform minor surgical procedures including biopsies and cryo-therapy. Order diagnostic tests, interpret pathology results, prescribe medications, and provide counseling on skin safety. Maintain patient records, complete MIPS requirements within 48 hours, and participate in community outreach for skin cancer prevention. Work independently with little supervision while adhering to ethical principles and federal regulations. Monday through Friday with weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's and master's degree, together with a certificate from completing an American Medical Association approved physician assistant program
- Active Florida medical license
- State and federal Controlled Substance Registration
- Possession of a bachelor's and master's degree, together with a certificate from completing an American Medical Association approved physician assistant program
- Possession of active Florida medical license
- Possession of state and federal Controlled Substance Registration
- Some clinical experience in an area of specialty
- Knowledgeable in computer programs, EMR systems, customer service, excellent verbal communication skills
- Possession of a bachelor's and master's degree, together with a certificate from completing an American Medical Association approved physician assistant program
- Possession of active Florida medical license
- Possession of state and federal Controlled Substance Registration
- Some clinical experience in an area of specialty
- Knowledgeable in computer programs, EMR systems, customer service, excellent verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) issued certificate
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
- PA-C (Preferred)
- Physician Assistant License (Preferred)
