Job Summary
Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner position in a PN Cardiology Clinic supporting the South Region offices (San Ramon and Pleasanton). Provide medical evaluation and treatment of patients in collaboration with and under the direction of the Supervising Physician. Perform physical diagnosis, health maintenance and disease prevention counseling, documentation, and patient messaging. Role involves non-invasive care with emphasis on cardiovascular-focused services; schedule is 08:00–17:00, full-time, exempt. Requires NP with MSN or DNP and California licensure/certification (RN/NP) with appropriate ANCC/AANP credentials; DEA registration required; BLS and ACLS required; ATLS preferred depending on surgical specialty. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited NP program (MSN or DNP)
- California RN/NP licensure - CA Board of Nursing
- NP/FNP certification through ANCC or AANP
- DEA registration - US Dept of Justice
- BLS - American Heart Association
- ACLS - American Heart Association
- ATLS - American College of Surgeons (preferred depending on surgical specialty)
