Job Summary
Conduct hospital rounding Monday through Friday across multiple facilities within a busy neurosurgery office. Order and prescribe non-controlled substances for inpatients and outpatients while participating in daily progress note writing, clinical care coordination, and discharge planning. Recognize the need for physician consultation and guidance based on experience and scope of practice. Maintain valid state licensing and demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. No call required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner in a hospital setting
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Valid state licensing
- Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Weekday rounding Monday thru Friday to multiple facilities
- No call
