Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Podiatry

Job Summary
Provide comprehensive care to both well and ill patients in an outpatient podiatry clinic, performing history and physicals, pre and post-operative evaluations, and developing treatment plans. Manage complications related to surgery while serving populations with pathologic bunions, hammer toes, ingrown nails, and heel pain. Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and RNs to perform procedures including wound debridement, TCC placement, suture removal, cortisone injections, and splint removal. See patients in follow-up for routine post-op care and work with Vascular Surgery and the Wound Care Team on wound patients. Maintain active licensure in Wisconsin with prescriptive authority and board certification. Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 100% FTE.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program
- Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program
- State of Wisconsin PA licensure
- State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
- Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice
- Active PA board certification
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
