Job Summary
Conduct new patient consultations, follow-up visits, and post-operative care for adolescent and adult patients in orthopedic and sports medicine settings. Manage fractures, joint conditions, and sports injuries through diagnostic imaging review, laboratory interpretation, and treatment plan development. Perform cortisone injections, basic office procedures, and prescription refills while responding to patient portal messages and telephone encounters. Collaborate with a team of six orthopedic physicians while maintaining an independent patient panel. Requires a Master's degree, current Massachusetts license, national certification, and 1–2 years of clinical experience. Full-time schedule at UMass Memorial Health – Milford Regional Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- A Masters degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Eligible or current Massachusetts license, with national certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, as applicable)
- Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration
- federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 1–2 years of APP experience in a clinical practice setting
