Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Neuroscience - Sharp Grossmont Hospital - FT - 10H Days

Provide/enhances patient care based on advanced nursing practice principles in the area of specialty and scope of practice. Performs ongoing assessment, develops patient databases through comprehensive health history and physical examinations, and orders/interprets diagnostic testing to identify differential diagnoses. Plans of care incorporating interdisciplinary input, intervenes with medications as clinically indicated, and evaluates patient progress toward goals. Collaborates with the health care team in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating comprehensive healthcare for patients and families. Assesses learning needs, coordinates patient/family education, and documents care/services per guidelines and compliance policies.
