Job Summary
The Stroke Program Nurse Navigator/Physician Assistant provides expert nursing consultation and oversight, coordinating multidisciplinary stroke care and serving as a liaison between medical staff, nursing staff, family members, and support services. Responsibilities include delivering stroke education, overseeing patient care including post-discharge follow-up, and ensuring compliance with stroke program certification requirements. Ideal candidates will possess strong ICU, neuro, or ED experience and hold relevant nursing or physician assistant licenses, along with certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Required Qualifications
- CA RN/NP/furnishing License or CA Physician Assistant License
- BLS
- ACLS
- NPI
- NIHSS (within 3 months of hire/transfer)
- ASLS (within 3 months of hire/transfer)
- ENLS (within 6 months of hire/transfer)

- NVRN
