Job Summary
Examine, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with acute illnesses, injuries, or chronic disease exacerbations. Order evidence-based testing, prescribe medications, and refer to specialists as required. Deliver occupational medicine services, including DOT exams and Worker's Compensation injury treatment, and perform pre-participation physicals for camps, sports, and employment. Maintain accurate patient charts and document information in the Electronic Medical Record. Complete a minimum 9-month continuing specialty rotation with one-on-one preceptorship under experienced NP/PA mentorship. This fellowship provides comprehensive clinical education and hands-on experience to develop competent, proficient, and professional urgent care providers.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited approved PA or FNP program
- Active board certification with NCCPA
- Active board certification with AANP or ANCC
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state where you are applying
- Demonstrated clinical competence
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
