Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient histories, perform physical examinations, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests. Order, perform, and interpret procedures as approved, while prescribing medications and providing preventative counseling. Refer patients to specialists and community resources for additional support. Ensure all patient encounters are reviewed by a supervising physician within seventy-two hours. Maintain a valid Indiana license and controlled substances registration, along with Basic Life Support certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved/accredited program
- One (1) year of clinical experience
- Valid license to practice in the state of Indiana
- Controlled Substances Registration license in the state of Indiana
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree
- Three (3) years of experience in medical office
