Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Provider

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic pain, and manage medication including controlled substance prescribing. Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies while assisting with in-office procedures and follow-up evaluations. Educate patients on pain management strategies and coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and external specialists. Document all encounters accurately in the EMR and participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Work under the supervision of Pain Management Physician(s) in Pooler and Savannah offices, delivering high-quality care consistent with evidence-based clinical guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Physician's Assistant, APRN, OR State of Florida Certified Nurse Practitioner or certification pending, as documented by temporary certificate
- Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to function independently within scope and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- No nights and minimal weekends (depending on clinic schedule)
Desired Qualifications
- Pain management, orthopedics, neurology, rheumatology, or primary care experience preferred (but not required depending on training structure)
- Experience with chronic pain management or interventional pain procedures
- Experience with controlled substance management and monitoring (UDS, PDMP, opioid agreements)
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Knowledge of spine or musculoskeletal disorders
