Job Summary
Assist with the evaluation and management of inpatient neurosurgery consults, including elective and emergent surgery support. Provide care for post-op and elective patients in the outpatient clinic setting. Manage inpatient and outpatient neurosurgery cases within a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. Work 4 shifts per week of 10 hours each, including weekend coverage rotation, with ample overtime opportunities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons and advanced practice providers to deliver high-quality patient care in Palm Springs.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (NP/PA)
- Physician Assistant license to practice in the state
- CPR Certified
- DEA registration with state
