Job Summary
Diagnose and treat patients across all ages in urgent care, primary medical, telemedicine, and occupational medicine settings, including minor procedures, suturing, splinting, and orthopedic evaluations. Review x-rays, interpret EKGs, manage general dermatology, eye problems, and GYN cases while applying full scope of practice. Lead a small team of medical assistants in a high-volume environment, utilizing established treatment protocols for clinical decision-making. Provide emergency management and occupational medicine services alongside remote patient care. Work rotating 7-day-a-week shifts covering every other weekend. This role supports rural communities through state-funded tuition and student loan reimbursement grants.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant Board Certification
- MSN, or higher education
- DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
