Job Summary
Conduct patient-focused care across urgent care, primary medical, telemedicine, and occupational medicine services, including minor surgeries, suturing, splinting, and general orthopedic, dermatology, and eye evaluations. Interpret EKGs, review x-rays for radiologist over-read, manage emergencies, and provide GYN expertise and pediatric treatment. Deliver flexible leadership in high-volume clinics across the Southeast Georgia region, with shifts scheduled two months in advance covering Monday through Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant Board Certification
- MSN, or higher education
- Must be available for shifts determined two months in advance
- Must be available for Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Must be available for Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (KidsStreet)
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. (KidsStreet)
- Must be able to perform minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
- Must be able to perform suturing
- Must be able to perform splinting
- Must be able to perform general orthopedic evaluations/management
- Must be able to review x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist)
- Must be able to provide general dermatology care
- Must be able to address general eye problems
- Must be able to perform general EKG interpretations
- Must have emergency management skills
- Must have general GYN expertise
- Must be able to treat children of all ages
- Must be able to provide occupational medicine
- Must be able to provide telemedicine
- Must be flexible working with teams in different clinics
- Must be able to provide leadership in a high volume and fast-paced urgent care environment
- Must be able to pass standard pre-employment background checks
- Must be able to pass drug screens
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in EMR
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
