Job Summary
Physician Assistant position in an urgent care setting in Hinesville, GA. Full-time PA leads a small team, exercises full scope of practice across patients from babies to geriatrics, and delivers urgent care, telemedicine, occupational medicine, and primary medical care. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating URIs and acute conditions, minor procedures (toe/nail and foreign object removal), suturing, splinting, general orthopedic evaluations, radiograph review, dermatology and eye care, EKG interpretations, emergency management, and GYN care. The role emphasizes leadership of medical assistants, working in a high-volume environment, and participating in clinic schedules with rotating shifts and extended hours. Training and mentorship are provided, including onboarding orientation, pediatric urgent care coursework, and clinical decision support to support growth into the role. The opportunity is a two-year commitment with benefits including health/dental/vision, malpractice insurance, CME allowance, retirement plan eligibility, and other standard programs. Open to new graduates and provides a clear pathway to develop skills in urgent care and rural community medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant Board Certification
- MSN, or higher education
- DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified (we cover the cost)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office preferred
