Job Summary
Conduct minor surgeries, suturing, splinting, and general orthopedic evaluations while managing emergency skills, EKG interpretations, and telemedicine services. Provide patient-focused care across urgent care, primary medical, occupational medicine, and dermatology clinics, including treating children of all ages and reviewing x-rays. Work flexible shifts determined two months in advance, rotating between MainStreet and KidsStreet locations Monday through Sunday. Requires Physician Assistant Board Certification and MSN or higher.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant Board Certification
- MSN, or higher education
- Must be available for shifts determined two months in advance
- Must be available for Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Must be available for Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (KidsStreet)
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. (KidsStreet)
- Must be able to perform minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
- Must be able to perform suturing
- Must be able to perform splinting
- Must be able to perform general orthopedic evaluations/management
- Must be able to review x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist)
- Must be able to provide general dermatology care
- Must be able to address general eye problems
- Must be able to interpret general EKGs
- Must have emergency management skills
- Must have general GYN expertise
- Must be able to treat children of all ages
- Must be able to provide occupational medicine
- Must be able to provide telemedicine
- Must be flexible working with teams in different clinics
- Must be able to provide leadership in a high volume and fast-paced urgent care environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
