Job Summary
Physician Assistant opportunity in a high-volume urgent care setting. Full-time PA needed to provide urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine services across age groups from babies to geriatrics. Lead a small team of medical assistants; work with protocols to guide decision-making. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating cold/flu/COVID and other URIs, minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal), suturing, splinting, general orthopedic evaluations, radiograph reviews (radiologist over-read), dermatology, eye problems, EKG interpretations, emergency management, general GYN, occupational medicine, and telemedicine. Open to brand-new grads with on-site orientation and training, supportive resources for career growth, and tuition/loan reimbursement grants in rural communities. Sessions include rotating shifts with extended hours across 7 days. Required: PA Board Certification and MSN or higher; DOT certification or willingness; strong communication; EMR and Microsoft Office proficiency. This is a two-year commitment with clinics in Augusta, GA and Aiken, SC.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant Board Certification
- MSN, or higher education required
- DOT certification or willing to become DOT certified
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office preferred
