Job Summary
Conduct urgent care, primary medical, and occupational medicine services including minor surgery, suturing, splinting, and general orthopedic evaluations. Perform general dermatology, eye problem management, EKG interpretations, and emergency management while treating patients of all ages, including children. Review x-rays for radiologist over-read and deliver telemedicine care across multiple clinics in the Central/East Georgia region. Work flexible shifts determined two months in advance, covering Monday through Sunday hours at MainStreet and KidsStreet locations.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant Board Certification
- MSN, or higher education
- Must be available for shifts determined two months in advance
- Must be available for Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Must be available for Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (KidsStreet)
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. (KidsStreet)
- Must be able to perform minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
- Must be able to perform suturing
- Must be able to perform splinting
- Must be able to perform general orthopedic evaluations/management
- Must be able to review x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist)
- Must be able to provide general dermatology care
- Must be able to address general eye problems
- Must be able to perform general EKG interpretations
- Must have emergency management skills
- Must have general GYN expertise
- Must be able to treat children of all ages
- Must be able to provide occupational medicine
- Must be able to provide telemedicine
- Must be able to work in a high volume and fast-paced urgent care environment
- Must be able to provide leadership in a high volume and fast-paced urgent care environment
- Must be able to work with teams in different clinics
- Must be able to float in multiple clinics in the Central/East Georgia Region
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in EMR
- Experience working in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
