Job Summary
Conduct minor surgeries, suturing, and splinting while managing general orthopedic evaluations, dermatology, eye problems, and GYN expertise. Perform x-ray reviews, EKG interpretations, and emergency management for patients of all ages, including children. Deliver occupational medicine, telemedicine, and primary care across urgent care and clinic settings. Review x-rays with Radiologists as part of the care team. Provide leadership in high-volume urgent care environments. Schedule shifts are determined two months in advance, with rotations covering Monday through Sunday across MainStreet and KidsStreet clinics.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant Board Certification
- MSN, or higher education
- Must be available for shifts determined two months in advance
- Must be available for Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Must be able to perform minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
- Must be able to perform suturing
- Must be able to perform splinting
- Must be able to perform general orthopedic evaluations/management
- Must be able to review x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist)
- Must be able to provide general dermatology care
- Must be able to address general eye problems
- Must be able to perform general EKG interpretations
- Must have emergency management skills
- Must have general GYN expertise
- Must be able to treat children of all ages
- Must be able to provide occupational medicine
- Must be able to provide telemedicine
- Must be able to provide leadership in a high volume and fast-paced urgent care environment
- Must be flexible working with teams in different clinics
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
