Job Summary
Lead PA in urgent care overseeing a small team of medical assistants; provide full-scope care across age groups (babies to geriatrics) including diagnosing/treating URIs, suturing, splinting, orthopedic evaluations, dermatology, eye problems, EKG interpretations, emergency management, GYN, occupational medicine, and telemedicine; rotating 7-day schedule with extended hours; emphasis on leadership, mentorship, and serving rural communities with grant-influenced tuition/loan support. Requires PA board certification and MSN or higher; new grads welcome; DOT certification a plus. On-site orientation and training, plus ongoing support and access to treatment protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant Board Certification
- MSN or higher education required
- New graduate friendly
- DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office (preferred)
