Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, and implement medical care for patients in the Main Urgent Care setting, delivering holistic and individualized care while coordinating nursing care and patient education. Manage interdisciplinary plans of care that incorporate psychological, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors, maintaining collaborative relationships with physicians, support groups, and other healthcare providers. Adhere to California ambulatory care protocols and hospital policies to ensure a reliable patient experience, utilizing electronic health records for data entry and managing varying procedures and interruptions. Requires NP certification, CSRC, BLS, and ACLS. Per diem schedule with variable hours including rotating weekends.
Required Qualifications
- NP- Nurse Practitioner CSRC-Controlled Substance Registered Certification (DEA)
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- National Certification
- Medical knowledge and skills applicable to perform within the scope of practice
- Verbal and written communication skills for regular contact with young patient, adult patient, physician and staff
- Computer data entry skills to enter patient information in Electronic Health Record
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work with others in a flexible, cooperative manner
- Must be able to handle varying procedures and interruptions
- Rotating Weekends
