Job Summary
Under general supervision, perform physical and psycho-social assessments, establish medical diagnoses, and manage follow-up care. Order, evaluate, and interpret diagnostic tests while developing treatment plans and providing preventative healthcare counseling. Maintain electronic medical records and patient portals using keyboarding and internet skills. Requires Georgia State Medical Board Certification, NCCPA certification, and two to five years of experience in a medical practice setting. Work hours run from 0730 to 1600 with no weekend or on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A college degree as a Physician's Assistant from a recognized university, affiliated with a medical school
- Keyboarding and internet skills
- ability to work with electronic medical records, webpages and patient portal
- Georgia State Medical Board Certification and adherence to the Medical Practice Act provisions
- Current NCCPA certification
