PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT IV - FULL TIME-SPINE -NEUROSURGERY

Evaluate, examine, diagnose, and treat patients in collaboration with supervising physicians across hospital and outpatient settings. Provide surgical first assist, positioning patients, performing sterile techniques, and assisting with skin closures. Manage pre- and post-operative care, including patient rounds, ordering tests, and developing discharge plans. Conduct clinical interviews, adjust medications, and provide patient education on treatment rationale and side effects. Document assessments, prescriptions, and progress notes in medical records while maintaining infection control and patient safety protocols. Participate in performance improvement activities, chart reviews, and disaster drills to enhance quality of care.
