Physician Assistant, Internal Medicine

Provides direct care to adult patients as part of an Internal Medicine team in an ambulatory/inpatient setting. Responsibilities include performing complete histories and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing and implementing plans of care with follow-up, prescribing medications, and maintaining thorough documentation. The PA may precept a small group of learners and will manage a patient panel of approximately 1,000 patients, with a schedule that includes patient-facing clinical time and dedicated administrative time. The role requires a Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant and state PA licensure.
