Job Summary
The Hospitalist Physician Assistant is responsible for providing primary care to hospital inpatients under direct medical supervision. Candidates must be nationally certified and/or state licensed in Pennsylvania with current supervising physician authority, alongside CPR certification. A Master’s degree, DEA registration, and the ability to work autonomously are required. Preferred qualifications include experience in a hospitalist role and ACLS/PALS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Nationally certified and/or state licensed to provide skills as a Physician Assistant in Pennsylvania
- Current PA State Supervising physician authority
- CPR certification
- Must have a Master’s degree
- Current Medicare Provider number
- DEA Registration
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106
- Ability to work autonomously
Desired Qualifications
- One year or more hospitalist experience
- ACLS and PALS certification
