Job Summary
Physician Assistant on the Hematology/Oncology Service at Columbia University Medical Center. Provide collaborative physician-based care within a multi-physician oncology practice, supporting inpatient units and coordinating care transitions to outpatient settings. Work with Leukemia Attending Physicians, Hematology/Oncology Fellows, Clinical Pharmacists, Care Coordinators, Social Workers, and Oncology Nursing Staff to develop, coordinate, and deliver daily care plans, with autonomy appropriate to the practice. Rotating three 12.5-hour day/night shifts with rotating weekends/holidays; on-site presence required within commutable distance to NYP. Opportunities within Bone Marrow Transplant, Solid Tumors, and Malignant Hematology. Requires NYS licensure and NCCPA certification; minimum 2 years of related experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies
- NYS licensure
- NCCPA certification
- 2 years of experience in hematology/oncology, inpatient medicine, infectious disease, or critical care (preferred)
