Job Summary
Manage and coordinate services for residents in the Insights Residential Program, providing direct patient care including medical examinations, monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment implementation. Work independently under administrative and clinical supervision while collaborating with patients, agency staff, volunteers, and external providers. Serve on special review and quality assurance committees as assigned, ensuring all consultations, assessments, and treatment plans align with agency policy. Requires NYS licensure, one year of substance abuse treatment experience, and prescriptive authority. Full-time Monday through Friday schedule with hourly pay ranging from $70.00 to $77.00.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Physician Assistant currently registered by the NYS Education Department
- At least one year of experience or comparable training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or dependency
- Have prescriptive authority and a DEA number
