Job Summary
Obtain, compile, and record patient medical data, health history, progress notes, and examination results. Instruct and counsel patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens. Assist the Orthopedic Surgeon during surgery or complicated medical procedures as a first assist in the OR. Perform duties under the direction of the surgeon in a typical professional medical clinic or Ambulatory Surgery Center environment. Travel weekly to Carmel, Greenwood, and Mooresville for two days of OR coverage and three days of clinic work. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and frequently stand, walk, and move patients or heavy equipment. Requires NCCPA certification and a valid Indiana license.
Required Qualifications
- NCCPA Certification
- Valid license with state of Indiana
- Must be able to lift at least 50+ lbs

Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with EMR systems (NextGen & Epic) experience helpful but not required
