Job Summary
Examine patients, collect detailed medical histories, and chart findings in electronic records. Read diagnostic test results, interpret data, and make tentative diagnoses for minor and major pediatric issues. Explain test results and expected health outcomes to patients and their parents while prescribing therapy or medication with physician approval. Collaborate with nurses, other Physician Assistants, and physicians to formulate comprehensive treatment plans. Requires valid state licensing, current PALS/NALS certification, and strong communication skills. Part-time and flexible hours available.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state licensing and certification
- PALS/NALS current
- Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
