Job Summary
The Physician Assistant will assess, plan, and provide direct patient care in clinical and surgical settings. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical examinations, assisting in surgery, managing patient rounds, writing admission and discharge orders, executing hospital consultations, and providing health education. The role requires a graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program, certification, and state licensure, along with 2-4 years of preferred clinical experience. Candidates must adhere to safety and infection control methods while coordinating patient care activities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Currently certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- Currently licensed as a Physician Assistant by the State of Florida
- 2-4 years of clinical experience preferred
