Job Summary
Physician Assistant (PA) needed for team-based primary care in Locust Grove, GA. The role requires certification from an accredited PA program and current licensure or eligibility, with outpatient experience preferred. The position supports pediatric and adult patients, telehealth capabilities, and a streamlined EMR (Athena) with a virtual scribe option. Key responsibilities include comprehensive health histories and physical assessments, adherence to DEA requirements and Medicare/Medicaid enrollment, and participation in a collaborative clinical leadership framework to promote high-quality, value-based care. Minor emphasis on flexible scheduling, clinical leadership opportunities, and cross-trained care-management/population health teams.
Required Qualifications
- Must be graduate and certified from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferred but not required
- Current, unrestricted license in practicing state or be eligible for licensure
- Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration
- Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred
