Job Summary
Physician Assistant (PA) in a team-based primary care practice in Locust Grove, GA. Responsibilities center on delivering high-quality outpatient care to pediatric and adult patients within a primary care setting, supported by an integrated care framework (telehealth, virtual scribe, care management, and population health resources). The role emphasizes collaborative practice with clinical leadership, ongoing professional development, and a patient-centered approach to value-based care. Key requirements include graduation and certification from an accredited PA program, an active or eligible license, DEA registration or eligibility, Medicare/Medicaid enrollment, BLS or ACLS certification, and comfort with Athena EMR. Two or more years of outpatient experience are preferred but not required. Eligible applicants should be prepared to participate in a flexible, patient-focused care team with opportunities for 1:1 leadership time, town halls, and cross-disciplinary support.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate and certified from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferred but not required
- Current, unrestricted license in practicing state or be eligible for licensure
- Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration
- Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred
