Job Summary
Physician Assistant opportunity in a team-based primary care practice in Locust Grove, GA. The PA will provide care for pediatric and adult patients across acute and chronic conditions within a multi-site network, support telehealth and virtual care, and collaborate with cross-trained care management and population health teams. The role emphasizes efficient EMR usage (Athena), access to clinical leadership, and a scheduling approach that supports work-life balance. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical assessments, managing patient health histories, and delivering high-quality, value-based care within an integrated healthcare system. The position also offers professional growth through leadership engagement, 1:1 time with leadership, and regular practice meetings and town halls.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate and certified from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferred but not required
- Comfortable treating pediatric and adult patients, conducting comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment
- Current, unrestricted license in practicing state or be eligible for licensure
- Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration
- Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred
