Job Summary
Physician Assistant (PA) needed for team-based primary care practice in Locust Grove, GA. Role involves treating pediatric and adult patients across acute, chronic, and preventive care in an outpatient setting within a value-based care network. Requires graduation and certification from an accredited PA program, active PA license or eligibility, DEA registration or eligibility, Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility, and BLS/ACLS certification. Experience in outpatient care is preferred; EMR familiarity (Athena preferred) and ability to work within a collaborative team including care management and population health support. The practice offers flexible scheduling, strong clinical leadership, telehealth capabilities with a virtual scribe option, and opportunities to engage with leadership and population health initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Must be graduate and certified from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferred but not required
- Comfortable treating pediatric and adult patients
- Current, unrestricted license in practicing state or be eligible for licensure
- Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration
- Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred
